Are you passionate about creating visually appealing and user-centric web and application designs? Join us as a UX Designer, where you'll conduct user research, analyze data, and design intuitive, functional interfaces that enhance the digital experience.

At rtCamp, we work with some of the largest brands. This means quality work over quantity. As a UX Researcher and designer, you are looking at generally 4-6 design projects every year in terms of work volume.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage multiple UX Design projects, identifying both business and user needs to deliver optimal solutions.
  2. Apply comprehensive user-centered design methodologies and processes throughout the project lifecycle
  3. Understand the products and project deeply to deliver insightful design solutions.
  4. Consume and aid both primary and secondary research to uncover valuable user insights.
  5. Translate research findings into innovative and compelling design concepts, addressing business challenges from multiple perspectives.
  6. Oversee all aspects of interaction design, coordinating closely with developers to ensure cohesive visual design.
  7. Present design solutions to stakeholders, backed by solid experience design principles and well-reasoned justification.
  8. Collaborate with technology teams to ensure designs are brought to life with precision and attention to detail.
  9. Handle project communications at all levels, ensuring high-quality deliverables are completed on time.

Must Haves

  1. 4+ years of hands-on experience with all aspects of user-centered design processes, with expert knowledge in User-centered design (UCD) methodology, information architecture, navigation models, and interaction design principles.
  2. Hands-on expertise with tools such as Figma, and familiarity with Research, UX Design and Project management tools. 
  3. Proven experience designing websites and applications for various devices and platforms, including mobile and desktop.
  4. Strong interpersonal communication, and a clear, persuasive presentation style to inform and influence key design decisions while maintaining professional credibility.
  5. Ability to understand strategic business needs from program managers and stakeholders and efficiently managing timelines and setting priorities.

Good to Have

  1. Your previous web design work samples should be live and in production.
  2. Familiarity with WordPress, its theme system, Gutenberg editor,headless ecosystem and Frappe.
  3. Your own website/blog showing your work portfolio and writing.
  4. A bachelor's or master's degree (B.Des, M.Des, BE in Computer Science, BE in IT, BTech) in design-related fields such as interaction design, product design, Human-Computer Interaction, or similar disciplines.
