Key Responsibilities
- User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
- UX/UI Design: Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to implement designs effectively.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system for consistency across the product suite.
- Iterative Design: Analyze user feedback and product metrics to iterate and improve the user experience.
- Accessibility: Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance).
- Recruit: Hire key resources in the team where there are gaps.
Must Haves
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, preferably with SaaS products.
- Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and problem-solving skills.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of UX principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts (not required but a plus).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to present and justify design decisions clearly.
Good to Have
- Experience designing for B2B SaaS platforms.
- Some familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem in any capacity.
- Design education from one of the premier design institutes such as NID.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven design.
- Knowledge of motion design and micro-interactions.
- Understanding of Agile workflows.
