About this position
Designation: Associate Software Engineer
Probation: ~6 months
Location: Remote (work from anywhere)
We're hiring developers with JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS skills to build enterprise-grade WordPress solutions for clients like Google, Meta, IndianExpress, and Al Jazeera. This role offers hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development.
What You’ll Do
- Build secure, scalable WordPress solutions using best practices
- Write clean, reusable code with proper documentation
- Develop responsive themes and high-quality plugins
- Understand client requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Communicate proactively and manage deadlines in a remote setup
Must Haves
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with Git and basic web architecture
- Quick learner with solid problem-solving skills
- Open-source contributions e.g., Pull requests on open source Github projects
Good to Have
- WordPress theme/plugin development
- Experience with React
- Familiarity with Composer, Nginx/Apache, and unit testing
- Basic hardware knowledge

Important details
- Total CTC: ₹7.5–9.5 LPA for first year. Minimum 12LPA after that.
Period | Salary |
Probation Period (~First 6 Months) | ₹25,000/month |
Post-Confirmation (~Next 6 Months) | ₹75,000 - ₹1,00,000/month (based on performance) |
First Anniversary Bonus | ₹1,50,000 (after 12 months of total tenure) |
- Students from CSE/CE/IT backgrounds are welcome to apply.
- The shortlisting process will take anywhere from 15 to 30 business days.
- Interviews of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted over Zoom, and students will receive the interview schedule on their registered email.

Career Progression
Your career will start as an Associate Software Engineer and progress to be Software Engineer → Senior Software Engineer. Usually, this takes 3 to 5 years.
Thereafter, as your experience grows, depending on your skills and interest, you can continue to grow further into the engineering side (Lead Engineer → Principal Engineer) or can have exposure to some business side, along with engineering responsibilities. (Engineering Manager → Director of Engineering).
